The benefits of stores purchasing camera devices give them the opportunity to boost their sells, and watch  out for a particular kind of shopper so that they can accommodate a certain need. For instance, one article that I read said that if the shopper was Asian, then they could put Asian workers out in a more open exposed area. Another device I read about talked about how you can put chips in pets and they could be trace backed to their rightful owner. This technique is very effective also in the capture of anyone shoplifting.
I think at some point that in order for stores to be able to do this, the consumers should be notified immediately when walking in the store. Just to think, I may want to make a face at what is suppose to be a mannequin and maybe even a crazy dance. Only for it to be viewed and mocked by someone, somewhere.
